My journey into fashion and advertising photography has been an incredibly exciting and deeply rewarding one, spanning over 20+ years. It began when I first picked up my camera with the aim of capturing not only beautiful images but the essence of style, personality, and emotion through the lens. I had always admired the world of fashion from the outside, but as I stepped into it, I soon realized how much more there was to explore and discover. The dynamic nature of fashion photography, where creativity meets trend, has fascinated me from the start.
My Real journey started in EFTI, the best school at the time in Spain for photograpers, a place were a meet people as good as Alberto Garcia Alix, Cristina García Rodero or Vivienne Westwood, Annie Leibovitz and Eugenio Recuenco.or Fernándo Marcos, the one i can say friend.
Throughout these years, I've been greatly influenced by the work of my favourite photographers, such as Helmut Newton and Mario Testino. What draws me to their work is their ability to infuse sensuality and sexuality into their images while still maintaining a strong artistic and fashion-forward approach. These photographers have taught me the power of capturing not only the garments but also the raw, intimate emotions that fashion can evoke. The balance between elegance, sensuality, and strength is something I strive to capture in my own work, and it’s a style that continues to inspire me.
What I have found most fulfilling, however, are the incredible people I’ve had the pleasure of working with along the way. The fashion industry is filled with talented and passionate individuals, from models to stylists, makeup artists to designers. Each collaboration has been a learning experience, as I’ve been able to witness firsthand the incredible teamwork that goes into creating the perfect shot. The energy and dedication these professionals bring to each project have not only pushed me to grow but have also inspired me to continue experimenting with new techniques and ideas. Their vision and ability to see beauty in every detail are qualities that I hold in the highest regard, and they continually motivate me to refine my craft.
Fashion photography is unique in the sense that it allows me to tell stories and evoke emotions with each shot. It’s not just about showcasing clothes or accessories; it’s about capturing a moment, a mood, and the spirit of a particular style. Whether it’s a high-fashion editorial, a commercial campaign, or a more intimate portrait session, each project offers a fresh opportunity to connect with my subject, discover new angles, and push my creative boundaries. What excites me most is the chance to freeze a fleeting moment of beauty, style, and expression in time, preserving it for the world to see.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that fashion photography is more than just creating visually striking images; it’s about crafting a narrative that resonates with others. The world of fashion is constantly changing, and so is the way we see and capture it. Every new project has given me the chance to evolve as an artist and storyteller, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences I’ve had so far. Looking back on my journey, I realize that the best part of it has been the people I’ve met, the stories I’ve captured, and the incredible opportunity to be a part of such a creative, ever-changing world. It’s been an unforgettable adventure, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
